What is an Ash Catcher and Why do you need it?

What is an ash catcher and what does it do?

The ash catcher is an adapter that filters the smoke and reduces the amount of tar that enters the main chamber of the water bongs. An ash catcher's purpose is to prevent debris from ending up in your water. A glass ash catcher is ideal as its transparency allows you to see exactly what is being kept out of the water. Ash catchers for bongs come in many different sizes, styles, and colors from which to choose.

How do you use the ash catcher bowl?

You use ash catchers instead of your normal bowls or you can put water into your ash catchers for smoother inhales. You will light up the weed in your bowl as usual, knowing that the ash catcher will keep everything clean and neat.

Are ash catchers worth it?

Ash catchers keep your bong clean for a much longer period of time than if you didn't use one. Also, ash catchers are known for being easier to clean than bongs, which saves time in the long run.

-I refer myself as a heavy smoker and I clean up my bong once a week for 20 minutes or so. Which doesn't take long at all and it's easy because I only use hot water and cleaning solvent. One day, I was lazy to clean my bong so got myself a small ash catcher with less than $10 CAD. Now it saves my time to clean up my bong and also saves money on buying cleaning solvent because I use it a lot less.
